The Race to Nowhere: Patience

Friendships and Relationships are similar to building a home. First you must have your Blueprint. You must know what you can offer and what you expect from this connection. Then you need the tools; respect, bilateral conversations, consistency, etc.

Once you have those things in place then you can begin to build your connection from the foundation (basement) up. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, because in our current social standings, people build from the top (attic) down, yet wonder why their connections 'fall' apart.

Patience is not only a virtue, it is a deterrent. Having patience is what will allow you to live a manageable life, limiting life altering mistakes to a minimum. Pratically everything that you will come across in your life was built from the ground up, so why isn't your friendships and relationships built the same way?
